The bar welcomes you into a relaxed and amicable space where both diners and drinkers can enjoy themselves. An extensive range of affordable wines and spirits, ales, beers and ciders are on offer. Both from local distilleries and breweries; though a few of our offerings are sourced from a little further afield! A great offering of soft drinks, teas and coffee are also available from our bar; or perhaps you just want ‘Something Different’ (see out blackboard in the bar for the current ‘something different’ offerings).
Our restaurant is a spacious room offering up a very relaxing dining experience or something a little quieter for those seeking a little away time from other drinkers or dogs (we do try and keep this area dog free; see our rules for further information). We would describe the restaurant as a tastefully decorated, cosy-lit room with a viewing window directly into the kitchen, great for those who like to see a working kitchen.
With seating for up to 30 people, or 24 on one table this area is ideal for private dining options, larger parties or events; with exclusive room hire for bespoke events from £50, and menus catered to your specific requirements, price bracket and event starting from £10 a head. Please contact the team directly for further information or to book your event.
The Beer Garden
Our beer garden is a real sun-trap and having recently been given a great deal of 'TLC' now allows for views stretching miles towards the Devon countryside; a rare site and a little varied from the sea of moorland views of many. Decked areas, paved and grassy areas throughout the garden are surrounded by raised flower beds, planted out to be a splash of colour, whilst in keeping with the countryside it sits in. It allows for a perfect excuse to sit and enjoy a drink or meal whilst topping up on the Vitamin D; not that we need an excuse!
New for 2020, hire the top end of the garden for your private event or party. From only £100 for half a day, the top section of the garden will be yours. Included is the decked area that offers up views of the neighbouring countryside, the bar and BBQ areas, 24 bottles of beer and casual seating for x16.
