It’s been a very long time in the ‘production’ process, but here we are! Finally, the much anticipated; or not, depending on how you look at it blog from the use, the pub owners.
We are both somewhat ‘antiquated’ in terms of technology. Many people have advised us of the importance of Vlogging, social media diaries, and much more. In reality, if we had
endless time on our hands, we would be doing just that; creating content for you all to watch, follow, scroll and whatever it is social media content does for you.
However, we don’t have the time, or creativity for that and instead you all get to read our fountain of knowledge on a very talked about industry. Our moans and groans, our stories and memories, from the hardships of buying and starting a business, ups and downs of
the industry, hilarious and entertaining situations we have been in and witnessed, and of course the many menu stories of a pub during global pandemic.
Some of the topics may cause more of a point of interest than others, but we hope to keep
you busy with some fairly regular ‘Black River Inn’ antics. In some cases we have held back on real names, and edited some of the quotes and anecdotes for privacy reasons; we are sure you all appreciate the need for this. Anyway, here’s us, mand our ever-changing, busy pub life blog.
